Stealth Chess™

© 1997 Dice Corp

If you've ever played Stratego, you know how much strategy can be used when you don't know which of your opponent's pieces are where. This same idea is applied to chess in this extra challenging game.

There are several different rule sets included that the players agree upon beforehand. The simplest is a standard opening position setup. You'll know which piece is which at the beginning of the game and the trick is to remember.

The one I think is most fun is where each player sets up his own ranks according to his own devious strategy. You can further confuse the other player by moving a rook or a queen as if it were a pawn, perhaps making your opponent believe it's a pawn -- until it's too late!
